That could certainly implant the fetish in the younger set...

Thanks!!
EDIT: Wow, looking it up she basically never sports them in the show. So far I can find just one episode, "Trouble by the Slice", where she has them, and then we're supposed to buy them fitting into those black gloves of hers. Typical Power Rangers goofiness, I guess? ^^;

Less likely since she's a villainess. Sadly media never gives nails like that to the heroines. They basically always have short, plain, simple nails that have nothing done with them at all. Then the villains sport these amazing claws. We see it everywhere from Disney to Power Rangers to Japanese anime, and even in dramas, comedies, etc. If that isn't the case it's a rare exception.

Never thought about it like that but you're right, not only does this discourage this type of fetish but it also discourages the girls from growing out their nails when they become women because all they have seen is negative imagery associated with long nails. Sad when u think about it.

Note: The series must have a minimum of 50 episodes produced and the actresses must appear in 50 episodes. Without further ado, let's go.
Edie Falco - Carmela Soprano (The Sopranos)
The Sopranos lasted from 1/10/1999 to 6/10/2007 producing 86 episodes over 6 seasons. Of the 86 episodes, she appeared in all but one. The episode she does not appear in is called, "Where's Johnny?" (S5 E3). In the 1st episode, her long nails were polished, but as the series progressed, they remained in a long french manicured style.
Barbara Eden - Jeannie (I Dream of Jeannie)
IDOJ lasted from 9/18/1965 to 5/26/1970 producing 139 episodes over 5 seasons. Appearing in all, her outfits were not the only thing hot, no it's not her double role, it's her nails. Plenty of screen time and close-ups well deserving.
Elizabeth Montgomery - Samantha Stephens (Bewitched)
254 episodes were produced over 8 seasons and lasted from 9/17/1964 to 3/25/1972. Like Barbara Eden, she appeared in all episodes, she too, had a double role and great nails also worthy of screen time and close-ups well deserved.
Marlo Thomas - Ann Marie (That Girl)
That Girl lasted from 9/8/1966 to 3/19/1971 producing 136 episodes over 5 seasons. Like Eden and Montgomery, she appeared in all episodes. The hairstyle and outfits were one thing, but her nails were beautiful, especially up close on the screen.
The next choices are two-for-one and they are...
Tina Louise - Ginger Grant & Dawn Wells - Mary Ann Summers (Gilligan's Island)
Also known as Gilligan's Isle, this show lasted from 9/26/1964 to 4/17/1967 producing 98 episodes over 3 seasons. Both appeared in all episodes & both had great hairstyles, figures, outfits & great nails with a glossy look to view on the screen.
Leah Remini - Carrie Heffernan (The King of Queens)
207 episodes were produced over 9 seasons and lasted from 9/21/1998 to 5/14/2007. Appearing in every one of them. Her nails took center stage in the beginning, but as the series progressed, they got shorter, but still likable among fans. She has long since gotten back into the nail game.
Loretta Swit - Margaret "Hotlips" Houlihan (M*A*S*H)
256 episodes were produced over 11 seasons and lasted 9/17/1972 to 2/28/1983. Of the 256 episodes, she appeared in all but five episodes. The attire she wore was sexy, but so were her nails that got plenty of attention from fans alike. Very worthy of viewing up close.
Eva Longoria - Gabrielle "Gabi" Solis (Desperate Housewives)
Desperate Housewives lasted from 10/3/2004 to 5/13/2012 producing 180 episodes over 8 seasons. Over the duration of the series, she always had great nails worthy of looking at up close. They were so beautiful that it was hard to look away. That and her beauty and overall sexiness.
If you liked this topic, that's great and comment if you choose. If you think there's other actresses worthy of this topic, post them. That's all for now.
Are any of those particularly long, and fake?
Out of all of them, just Edie & Leah. The rest are natural.

Thanks! I looked up Carmela Soprano and also found Adriana has nice nails. Then I found this picture. The gal on the right has the best of the bunch! Who's she??

That is Leslie Bega, who played Valentina La Paz in the series.

Thanks! More trouble finding good shots of her, but I found a video, at least. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jV1xojxE0mQ

It's been quite a while and I've seen things have changed. I have been keeping tabs on here while dealing with multiple things. Anyway, I will resume with this thread while making a new one in the process. For now, here's the goods.
If you have checked out the series, "Dollface", you'll get to see plenty of screen time of nails with Brenda Song & Kat Dennings. Might be worth a look, who knows.

Re: TV Nails (USA)
Hi there, I've got so many selected series with long nails I'm gonna be checking them and share with you. I'll probably set up a new topic on my yt and blog pages.
Edie has been actracting me for a while, since I definitely realized she had false nails, I then quit following her.
Stay tuned
