It's so awesome to know there's a community of like minded people around the topic. For the longest time I would keep this fascination for nails to myself as most people wouldn't get it and it was hard for me to explain it. Even the topic of scratching in films I didn't know such thing was a thing. I stumbled on that group where I was looking into movie scene on the internet with exactly that.

I remember encountering more movies in the late 70s-80s where you would see scratching happening compare to today, I don't remember quite their names but I will still look and will update you guys when I find those titles.

I'll add to the list as well: Gossip (2000) - Naomi losing it after Derrick, his ex admitted that he raped her ... twice, jumps on him who loses his balance on her bed where she get on top of him, put her nails on his face and scratch him.

Thanks, man. Sorry for the very late response. Haven't logged in in a while. I guess I had lost some interest in this forum because it's not focused on my particular fetish (women scratching violently with natural nails, especially in self defense). But I'm back.

By any chance, have you come across any of those 70s and 80s titles? I love that era for fingernail scratching in movies. late-70s to early-90s was the best for that. You rarely see it now, and even when you do, it's lame, or just not as hot as in that previous era.

Apologies for resurrecting this ancient post but I happened to re-watch that film recently and noticed a couple things I hadn't the first time round.

First thing, although the titular character "Catherine Valmont" (portrayed by the late Francoise Blanchard who was truly a stunning beauty and appeared sans clothing in several scenes) had long fake white nails in the beginning (in an interview years later, Blanchard mentions she injured several of her co-stars because she didn't realise how sharp those fakes were) however as the film progresses and she becomes more "alive" her nails are shorter but still quite long...and quite obviously her own natural unpolished nails. (A bio states she'd been a hand-model prior to becoming an actress). In fact those are her own long nails in the scene where she shoves her fingers into the mouth of the female victim her friend Helene procures for her to satisfy her thirst for blood.

Second thing, she is barefoot throughout the entire film and there are several scenes where she is shown walking slowly. I remember having wondered the first time I saw the film how her fingernails had grown whilst she was in her coffin but her toenails did not. This time to my surprise I noticed one scene toward the middle of the film where the camera comes in close enough to capture a good look at her toenails...they are unmistakably her real toenails and the ones on her big toes are about 1cm long. I don't know if Blanchard was into method-acting or she simply kept her toenails long but either way, for me it added immensely to the viewing pleasure
