Update: By asking on film find forums, I recently managed to identify 2 of my most sought after scratching scenes:
1) The name of the movie was "The Double Man" (1967), starring Yul Brynner (not Telly Savalas) and Britt Ekland.
I'm kind of disappointed with Britt's scratching, though, as she lacks longs nails. Time has a funny way of distorting your memories. I had imagined her with long, sharp, natural fingernails filed to a point.
2) The name of the Venezuelan (not Mexican) telenovela was "El Sol Sale Para Todos" (1986, episode #134), and the actress who does the scratching is 'Hilda Carrero' (playing the role of 'Madalena'). She has some killer nails.
(*** I tried to upload a few images of Hilda's nails, but don't know how to do it on this forum. I thought I could simply do a copy and paste from my Pictures folder. Advice on how I can share these images, anyone?)

Can't help but noticing how I love this kind of stuff, loving the detailed descriptions, the urge to search for scenes lost in time and memory...this is real nail fetish. Anyways, don't even know where to start to seek for that stuff.

Yeah, same here. And thanks.
Over the course of more than 40 years, I've managed to gather only two or three dozen scratching scenes from general release movies, shows and soap operas. I know there's gotta be a lot more of them out there, especially from the 'golden age' of female fingernail scratching (late-70s to early-90s). If you include foreign material too, the numbers must be huge. It's painful to think about how many great scenes I've missed. My dream is that, one day, AI will allow me to identify them-- simply describe what you're looking for, and, within seconds, voila`! A list of hundreds of titles appear on my screen. And good titles too, not the lame or irrelevant ones that AI finds for me now.
Oh, and one more thing.
My ideal AI of the future should have no censorship, please. Don't tell me that what I'm looking for is bad and then go on to give me a lecture about it. The job of AI shouldn't be to pass judgement or deny access to information. It should be a neutral tool, like currency, or an unbiased internet search engine. That's it. Keep your ego and agenda out of it. Thank you.
To address your statement, you can find scratching scenes in serious movies, where rape or crime/violence is involved. But it's a tedious, time-consuming process with a low success rate. You can improve your odds of finding a good scratching scene by limiting your search to movies made prior to 1995 or so.

Yes, especially B horror movies from the 80s. Old Westerns (60s-80s) also have a surprisingly high number of scratching scenes.
