Good to see that the 'nail establishment' starts redefining the 'long' in 'long nails' as nail sci-tech innovations open up the possibilities for creativity and expression. I figure that 10 years from now either 'long' will be used to refer to a different length-range or a different term will emerge for nails that used to be considered 'too much' but which are now starting to become 'business as usual'

It never went out of Style for Black, Hispanic, East Indian, Pakistani, Japanese, Philipino, Thai and Persian women. It went out of style for white women for a long time then came back after white celebs Katy Perry and Iggy Azalea came on the scene with long nails.

No one has very long nails because it's "in" or "out". That's especially true with extremely long nails (and hair for that matter) as that takes a several years+ commitment.
