Area of the USA - high % nail babes

I currently live in a part of the country (PNW) where women don't typically get their nails done. Do you think there exist areas of the country where higher percentages of women pay attention to their nails, and where it's more of a normalized thing? If I were to guess, I think places such as Dallas Texas , or Salt Lake City, and Tampa Bay would be good spots. Phoenix Arizona could be a hotbed. Anybody have any first hand experience living in areas where having nice nails and a pedicure is typically seen as standard upkeep??

From personal experience, I've noticed a lot in the Chicago area. In general, I think you see more in the big cities. Phoenix also good.

SoCal seems like it might be another hotspot, judging from the Youtube videos originating from that area.

Perhaps I'm the outlier (and under the circumstances, perhaps lucky) but I fancy seeing even 2-3mm of neglected natural growth rather than any length of fakes, so I find more enjoyable sightings in areas where women can't afford the cost of a salon or the bother of DIY.

Mr Pprit, you are certainly not alone in this statement, a couple of mm untouched, unfiled, uncoloured is my best state.... especially when viewed from the back... of course when curved downwards, ticks all the boxes

I grew up on Long Island, New York. I'm not all that well traveled but I can honestly say it would be the long nails capitol of the USA. Back in the 80's long natural nails were relatively common. Not extremely commonplace, though I'd see women with them frequently. Artificial nails were common too, and became increasingly so as I entered adulthood. Many women of Mediterranean ancestry where I lived and they seemed to either prioritize long nails, generally have more inherent ability to grow long nails than most other women, or perhaps a combination of both.
But seems there's been a trend away from natural nails almost everywhere in recent years. Could it be our impatient "now" culture globally?

Florida seems to be pretty good, I've been here for 26 years and even the white girls seem to have got on the long nail trend (not as enthusiastically as the black or hispanic girls, of course).
