I've been reflecting on how open we are about our nail fetish, and I wanted to share my own experience with you all. I've had a nail fetish for as long as I can remember, but I didn't open up to people about it until high school. At first, I was nervous about how others would react, but I quickly discovered that being open about my fetish had more positive outcomes than negative ones. Most of my social group knew about my nail fetish in some capacity, and while I did face some teasing, it wasn't as bad as I had initially feared. In fact, many of my female friends and acquaintances were excited to send me pictures of their nails and pedicures. It was like they enjoyed being able to share their pretty nails with someone who truly appreciated them. Opening up about my nail fetish made it easier for me to access the content I desired without having to resort to creepy behavior or finding obscure reasons to ask for nail pics. My friends were more than happy to share their nail art and pedicures with me, and it helped me feel more connected to them and my fetish. So, how open are you about your nail fetish?
