Finding out a loved one has long nails.

What would you do if you found out that loved one is wearing long nails for an event.

My dad was made up as a latex demon witch with long nails.
When I saw him it scared me to see him like that.
He did for Halloween last year.
He had a big cooking pot that I end up in as if he was cooking me.
I even got scratch with those nails.

Let me hear your thoughts on this please
