To be fair she was talking about selling her nails for the past few years so it's not like we didn't see it coming but it's still really sad to see her nails go
But I guess like Mickey said to Rocky in the third movie, all the great ones retire. Presidents retire, generals retire, athletes retire, horses retire...Man O'War, Secretariat, War Admiral all retired, they were put out to stud.
In other awesome news though, Simone Christina is back on IG!

She's been a superb champion for so many years.

Christina has the potential to be the next Lee Redmond....and at a much younger age. I hope she finds a life partner who treasures those to the max and helps her out.

I even heard a guy on local radio talking about the Yani Williams story...must be going around. He made a few of the expected lame comments, but also gave her some serious respect for making a world record.
Lauren Curtis is a talented artist, a beautiful lady, and interacts on Facebook. If she's the new record holder, she will represent well.

Here she is back in 2013...and I think there were a few other pics of her and her nails taken as well. I'm so happy that she's finally claimed her well earned heavyweight championship of the long nail world! She may very have the longest nails EVER! And that is so sweet (though also sad) what inspired them in the first place.

I see that Yani is now with short toenails. I remember watching "My Strange Addiction" and how she was criticized for her long toenails. She seemed very strong and passionate about not cutting them no matter what. I know having diabetes did not help the situation and perhaps she had to make that choice for the good of her health. If that's the case, I completely understand that.
She did have some amazing toenails. Even if they were trimmed to half the length she once had, they still would be hot. I hope she is doing well and continues to stay within the nail community.
