When guys grow long toenails and fingernails

Hey there nail community.

My name is Jerry and I forgot to cut my toenails for 3 months some time ago. I just wanna trim them with my clippers as my girlfriend became aware of them. She said: Oh no, don't cut them. They look so strong and healthy. Okay i thought. From that point I keep growing my toenails out
and they are actually 10 months uncut Not only that. In 2nd of July i decide to grow out my fingernails too and didn't trim them since then,

What do you think should i keep them?
